Office/Logistics Administration Assistant.
We’re seeking a proactive and Administration Assistant who will be based at our site near Eye, on the Norfolk Suffolk border. You will become part of our small, friendly and supportive office team. You will need to be organized, adaptable and demonstrate great attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are essential, both to ensure our provision of exceptional customer service and to work as a team.
To enable you to carry out your role with confidence, we will provide you with a full and comprehensive training programme and with ongoing support as you progress.
Salary £24,371p.a.
Hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs per week)
Duties will include:
- Booking and processing orders
- Receipting goods
- Liaising with customers and suppliers via telephone and email
- Booking transport with different hauliers and couriers, via online portals
- Liaising with warehouse team leaders to ensure smooth running of order processing systems
- Working as part of the administration team, supporting others when required
Essential skills and qualities:
- Excellent customer service skills for communicating both internally and externally.
- Good time management and ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and competent database entry
Desirable skills and qualities
- Experience of a warehouse management system would be an advantage
- Knowledge or prior experience of the logistics industry.

Work Experience
We are working hard with a number of schools within the areas of our two sites, to developing an exciting programme to offer candidates a week of experience in warehousing and logistics in general. The intention is to highlight the numerous possibilities of future careers for individuals who have no knowledge of our industry.
Apprenticeships
We are researching Logistics apprenticeships and will hopefully be able to offer these in the near future
Ideally the scheme will be in two parts:
- A practical section which will cover a general knowledge of all aspects of our industry and specifically the part we play within companies supply chain.
- And a specific more detailed section which will allow the candidate to focus on their preferred areas of logistics
